I’m Mary, a Registered Nurse,  who has transitioned to a career in freelance writing. My experience, at the bedside, in leadership, and staff education, gives me a diverse background and expertise that I am enjoy bringing to the world of health content writing. Because of my diverse background, I am able to write from a variety of viewpoints, bringing the flavor that is right for your publication.  My intention is to create material, grounded in current evidence-based medical and health information and delivered in a format that meets the audience’s need.  Based on my accumulated experience gained through my years at the bedside and beyond, as well as being a mom of premies as well as adopted kids, I will be able to bring a unique and accurate view.

Having worked in 8 states and one foreign country, I have been able to see medicine and patient care from many aspects. I continue to learn and grow as I am exposed to alternate ways of caring for patients, always with empathy and caring.
